Beverage Gases
Carbon Dioxide - Carbonated Beverages and Beer
CO2 is used to carbonate beer and other beverages. Central Beverage Gases guarantees its customers a reliable supply of high-quality CO2.Nitrogen - Non-Carbonated Beverages
Nitrogen may be used in many applications to preserve the quality of such non-carbonated beverages as iced tea, fruit juices or milk type beverages. They mainly involve deoxigenation and inerting.
Droppel machines also use liquid nitrogen to pressurize beverage cans and bottles made of PET (polyethylene terphtalate) plastic.
Nitrogen / Carbon Dioxide Mixes - Draft Beverages
CO2 and nitrogen cylinders are often used to serve drinks on tap (such as soft drinks in fast food restaurants and draft beer in bars).Specialty Gases - Wine
Central Beverage Gases offers special gases used for wine making that helps brings out the personality of each grape variety, preserves the nobility of each fine vintage and protects its quality, from the grape to the glass.

Beverage Gas Equipment
Our well-trained support staff can help you choose the equipment that best suits your specific application.
Premium Double Gauge CO2 Regulators:
The featured regulator is typical for many applications... though, our customers may choose from an extensive inventory of gas regulators and gas regulation equipment. One gauge tells you the pressure to the keg and the other shows how much air is left in the CO2 tank. Nonadjustable “shut down” blows off at 55-65 psi. Has a convenient air shut off switch.
Specifications
Dimensions: 7”W x 7 1/2”H x 5”D.
CO2 tank mount CGA-320 threads.
1 Pressure – 1 Keg.
0-60 PSI, for accurate keg pressure.
0-3000 PSI, for remaining tank pressure.
3/8” Outside Diameter To fit 5/16” I.D. Gas Hose.
Features
Distribution to one keg.
Has an air shut off switch.
Set screw pressure adjustment.
Flow control inlet nipple filter.
Gas Blenders:
Gas blenders provide both economy and function for dispensing draught beers and lagers. The benefits of self-blending include:
Reduced volume of wasted beer
A balanced gas blending system represents incredible value, considering the loss of beer that can be caused by an unbalanced system. The economy of a balanced gas blending system outweighs the cost of installation.Cheaper alternative than premixed gases
Premixed gas cylinders are more expensive. Use of a gas blender allows you to buy carbon dioxide and pure nitrogen, and the gas blender creates the desired blend.More accurate blending
Our gas blenders are guaranteed accurate within 2%, and are individually tested before leaving the manufacturer.
Nitrogen Generators:
An integral component of a draft a dispensing system is the gas that is used to "push" the product from the keg to the tap. The right mixture of CO2 and nitrogen guarantees quality and reduces operating costs.
Central Beverage Gas provides a line of Nitrogen Generators that offer reliable operation for blending CO2 and Nitrogen for mixed gas blends. These gas mixtures:
Reduce foaming and over pour.
Increase keg life and utilization.
Improve quality and taste.
An effective Nitrogen Generators system will eliminate over carbonation and/or flat beer from your beer systems.
CO2 Alarms:
We offer CO2 monitoring products used by breweries, restaurants, machine shops, garages and many other businesses as a low-cost way to warn employees to stay out of enclosed areas with high CO2 levels.
Measuring indoor CO2 levels is important for
Indoor air quality
Preventing toxic CO2 levels
Carbon dioxide, in the form of dry ice or liquid in canisters, pose a potential deadly threat when stored in enclosed spaces. As CO2 levels rise, the quantity of volatle organic compounds (VOCs), odors and micro-organisms in the air rise too.
In addition to air quality, a buildup of carbon dioxide gas can also effect your health. Studies have shown high CO2 concentrations directly effect your ability to concentrate on tasks. Insure healthy air quality for your patrons and employees!
Food Preservation Gases
Food preservation gases are used to extend the shelf life of food products by reducing the rate of spoilage. Common food preservation gases include nitrogen, carbon dioxide, and oxygen absorbers. Nitrogen is used to displace oxygen in order to reduce the rate of oxidation and reduce the growth of aerobic bacteria. Carbon dioxide is used to inhibit the growth of microorganisms and reduce spoilage. Oxygen absorbers are used to reduce the oxygen content of food packages and lower the rate of spoilage.
Many variables, such as ingredients, equipment and process parameters will impact shelf life. Therefore, optimum results will be obtained when each MAP solution is tailored to the specific food product and process. Similarly, strict temperature and sanitation controls are critical throughout the entire process, from receipt of raw ingredients to the packaging and distribution of the finished product.
Reduce product returns
Gain greater flexibility in production scheduling
Improve product consistency
Control inventory more effectively and economically
Distribute products over greater distances
Improve opportunity for branding of value-added products
Reduced susceptibility to oxidation
Improved protection from bacteria and mold
Enhanced color and overall appearance
