Announcing a New Partnership: Central Welding Supply and Morgan Steel Unite in Kenai, Alaska
We’re excited to share some big news for our customers in Kenai, Alaska, and beyond! As of November 1, 2024, Central Welding Supply has acquired the gases and welding supplies business of Morgan Steel in Kenai. The Morgans will continue to focus on the steel side of their business, while we step in to manage the welding supplies and gas retail store. This collaboration brings together Morgan Steel's expertise in steel products and Central Welding Supply’s broad range of welding equipment, safety gear, filler metals, and gases—all under one roof.

Since 1957, Morgan Steel has been a pillar of the Kenai Peninsula and greater Alaska, providing exceptional service to marine, industrial, construction, and home-hobbyist customers. Owned and operated by the Morgan family, they’ve built a strong reputation for customer care. The Morgans will continue serving the community’s steel needs, while this partnership allows Central Welding Supply to offer an even more comprehensive set of products and services.
Central Welding Supply, a family-owned company established in 1975, has grown to serve customers across Washington, Oregon, and Alaska with high-quality welding supplies, rental welders, and welder repair services. The addition of our new Kenai location, our fourth in Alaska, will complement our existing branches in Anchorage, Wasilla, and Fairbanks, enhancing our ability to support the state’s welding community.
